Forterus, Inc. -- (FTER.PK)

Forterus provides a variety of healthcare services, including behavioral healthcare, intervention services, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, pain management and physical therapy.

Drug rehabilitation services should come with a wealth of experience in obtaining you or your loved ones high levels of care. At A Better Tomorrow, you get the very best of the drug rehabilitation centers in the world, helping people nationwide fight alcohol and drug addiction.

Their treatment centers are accredited by the CARF, they are able to work with insurance companies nationwide, and all of their staff hold high credentials including many with master level degrees. You need experience to help with addiction, whether you are afflicted or a loved one is. They can help.

They focus on long term recovery by using relapse prevention and family friendly components which surpass industry standard in the addiction field. When taken together, using the right rehab clinic and drug rehabilitation center costs less than you think. After all, so many addicts lose jobs and careers, families and friends, and many other things you simply cannot put a price on.

In terms of jobs and careers, it's tough for anyone suffering drug or alcohol addiction to maintain a job; they lose them more often than not. Thousands if not tens of thousands is spent on drugs and alcohol, or on decisions made while using. In turn, families and friends lose trust in the addict, or decide to give up on them. Addiction is a powerful thing to suffer with alone, but often is incredibly hard on friends and loved ones too. The answer is the right drug rehabilitation center, and the right alcohol rehab service.

Their intensive outpatient program is truly priceless, and combined with their sober living facilities it solves the problem of addiction for many. How? It offers a stable, loving, and caring environment overseen by professionals who have more experience than most family and loved ones. They know how to handle addicts because of their years experience.

Their main goal for clients is to set their own goals for long term recovery. Simply getting a job back or making apologies isn't enough. Often there are other problems involved in using drugs and alcohol at the outset, like anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, and many other psychological problems.

But is it in your price range? Yes, movie stars are known to spend tens of thousands or more, but their goal here at A Better Tomorrow is to offer services which are fair and reasonable. In many ways, this can be the best decision of one's life, and don't want that opportunity to be missed because of finances.

Mission

Their intensive outpatient program in conjunction with their sober living facilities provides a stable, loving and caring environment. Their clients are able to obtain the goal of long term recovery. They believe in personally guiding each and every client through each and every step in becoming clean and sober. They also acknowledge and will strive to help the client work on resolving any underlying core issues, which may include anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, etc. In that attempt, they will provide traditional addiction treatment for adults and their families with an emphasis on maintaining long-term recovery through innovative methodologies and individualized treatment planning.

At A Better Tomorrow, they understand that high quality recovery services should not and cannot be available only for the rich and famous. At many facilities, the cost of treatment approaches that of a major surgery. To that end, A Better Tomorrow will strive to maintain the most cost effective yet comprehensive and successful program possible in order to meet the needs of every income strata.

A Better Tomorrow also realizes that those who are battling addictions use up a disproportionate amount of resources. They miss more working days and they are often less productive than fellow workers. They place more claims against workers compensation, unemployment, health and life insurance benefits. Their addictions result in more automobile accidents, emergency room visits, and 911-emergency calls. Their actions exacerbate the problems of overcrowded court dockets, probation systems, jails, prisons and juvenile detainment facilities.

A Better Tomorrow believes in recovery and the concept that one does not become addicted in one day, and recovery does not happen over night. Through treatment and education, a large majority of addicts can be directed toward a new path as sober and productive members of society.

Vision

Above all else, they are committed to client care and improving the quality of their lives.

Their goal is to deliver the highest quality, cost effective healthcare to the community they serve. They recognize and affirm the unique worth of each individual.

Treat all those they serve with care, compassion and kindness.

Act with absolute honesty, integrity and fairness in the way they conduct their business and the way they live their lives.

All of the valuable members of their healthcare team pledge to treat each client and one another with loyalty, respect and dignity.

Accreditation

What is Accreditation & Certification?
Accreditation is a process of external reviews, used to insure quality assurance and quality improvement. In the field of Substance Abuse/Mental Health, accreditations and certifications are carried out by the state, and private, nonprofit organizations. The thorough evaluation of the policies and procedures make accreditation and certification of the treatment facility a vital part in making a decision for those seeking treatment.

Who is CARF?
Founded in 1966, as the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes quality rehabilitation services. It does this by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers. CARF uses the standards to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers and how it can improve. Every year the standards are reviewed and new ones are developed to keep pace with changing conditions and current consumer needs.

Why are they Accredited?
At A Better Tomorrow their accreditation is a means of demonstrating their commitment to quality for clients and their family members. They strive to stay above the standards by providing consistent care in accordance with the newest, evidence-based information. The more innovative their treatment is, the better they can adjust to the fast-paced field of Addiction Recovery. Out of the thousands of programs, only 5% have achieved this status of being accredited.

What does it mean to you?
Choosing CARF-accredited programs and services gives you the assurance that:
The programs or services actively involve consumers in selecting, planning, and using services.
The organization's programs and services have met consumer-focused, state-of-the-art international standards of performance.
These standards were developed with the involvement and input of consumers.
The organization is focused on assisting each consumer in achieving his or her chosen goals and outcomes.

Detox

Comfortable Withdrawal and Biophysical Detoxification
For many addicts the thought of withdrawal brings fear and anxiety to an already emotional situation. For this reason safe and comfortable medical withdrawal is often times the first step in starting a positive program of recovery. First impressions are important and setting a tone of care and comfort is recommended.

A Better Tomorrow provides appropriate detoxification services and refers clients to detox centers that utilize the latest in modern medicine combined with compassionate care.

The detox portion of treatment is designed to break the vicious cycle of drug and/or alcohol addiction. Modern methods are used to make the detox both comfortable and, of course confidential. As a result, the client will be residing in a separate, yet equally peaceful and nurturing environment while receiving care both medically and emotionally.

The detox phase of treatment typically runs seven to ten days, depending on the client's need, and will be administered by a physician at one of our referred providers sites. The doctor will support the patient by prescribing the most medically comfortable detox protocol for each individual client. In addition, the client will be closely monitored throughout the process by experienced staff that will care for the client.

Extended Care

Length of Stay
There are direct correlations to length of stay in treatment and long term sobriety. The chances of an addict achieving sobriety and maintaining a lifestyle to support sobriety greatly increase when long term inpatient care is the treatment of choice. Most addictions are not born overnight. They develop over years into patterns of behavior. These patterns must be broken. This coupled with treating the bio-physical aspects of addiction and the emotional aspects of addiction take time.

A Better Tomorrow offers affordable solutions. Their Extended Care programs allow residential treatment clients to continue therapy and support groups in a residential setting for as long as it takes. They have several customized tracks that will provide the correct level of treatment after detox and primary care. Their individualized addiction rehab extended care services can include intensive outpatient treatment, individual treatment with outpatient treatment, sober living services and other drug and alcohol or other addiction services. A treatment plan is determined and individualized to each persons needs by a licensed certified counselor or medical team.

A Better Tomorrow specializes in Addiction. They work hard to bring you the most innovative methods of treatment and continually train their staff in the latest and best practices in the field of addiction and other disorders. Please call today for a treatment plan that fits.

Gambling is a progressive disorder

Pathological gambling is a progressive disease that devastates not only the gambler but everyone with whom he or she has a significant relationship. In 1980, the American Psychiatric Association accepted pathological gambling as a "disorder of impulse control." It is an illness that is chronic and progressive, but it can be diagnosed and treated.

Pain Management

At A Better Tomorrow every client is seen as an individual with unique needs requiring a personally designed treatment program. For this reason we have a unique opportunity to offer an adjunctive program to their traditional rehabilitation program. This special program addresses clients addicted to medication due to chronic or persistent pain.
Pain and addiction both present their own set of complicated problems.. When pain disorders and addiction disorders co-occur, the problems are more than multiplied.

This combination of problems requires a unique approach to treatment. Clients in need of specialized treatment to address both pain and chemical dependency are offered additional enrollment in our Pain Management Program.

Pain and addiction both present their own set of complicated problems

Primary Treatment

Treatment Programs and Methods of Treatment

There are as many different treatment approaches as there are addictive drugs. Individualized treatment means working with the different dynamics each client brings. The vicious cycle of Drug Addiction and Alcoholism causes varying amounts of damage to the family, health, legal, occupational repercussions, and mental health issues. All of which, contribute to the difficulties treatment facilities confront. Even if few of these apply to an individual, the severity of addiction itself ranges significantly.

A Better Tomorrows Treatment Team uses evidence-based treatment techniques. Social model programs that paved the way have shown us proven ways of aiding people into recovery. They also incorporate behavioral therapy (One-on-one Counseling, Cognitive therapy, and Psychotherapy) as a way for clients to cope with their drug cravings, personalized relapse prevention, and to help clients deal with situations that may arise after treatment.

Christian Program

A Better Tomorrow is pleased to announce a new program designed to reach their diverse local community as well as individuals across the United States who are chemically dependent. A Better Tomorrow is adding to their current successful traditional 12-Step treatment program a Christian based program based on Celebrate Recovery.

Celebrate Recovery is Christ centered and believes that by working and applying Biblical principles, they can become free from their addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.
This new program will allow individuals the opportunity to choose the treatment track that is most suitable for them.

Our 12 - Step Biblically based program will consist of:

Private, one on one, Christian therapy by a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Group therapy that includes prayer, testimonies and sharing which is part of the Celebrate Recovery curriculum.

Groups that are based on Biblical principles which allow clients to start working the steps and begin their recovery.

Family and couples counseling by a Christian counselor.

Residential Treatment Services

Selecting a drug rehab center is one of the most important and difficult decisions you will make in your lifetime.. Few of us know what to look for in a quality drug rehab program and not all rehabilitation centers are alike. Each drug rehab has its own program options, credentials, cost, staff qualifications, and effectiveness. Though drug and alcohol addiction are diseases that progress through predictable stages, it takes a trained health professional to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the most appropriate treatment.

A drug rehab treatment center should offer a variety of treatment programs that meet individual needs. These drug rehab programs may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options. The difference between inpatient and a residential treatment center is that inpatient services are provided by a licensed hospital, while residential programs usually do not meet the same rigorous standards of medical care. The length of stay depends on the severity and stage of the disease.

A Better Tomorrow also specializes in dual diagnosis treatment and provides services for individuals with mood disorders, personality disorders, gambling addictions, and other mental health disorders. They can manage and treat such things as depression, panic attacks and anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Their treatment teams of licensed clinical levels are able to diagnose and assess a vast majority of co-occurring disorders that commonly occur in those afflicted with substance abuse issues.

Asking appropriate questions when you call a drug rehab for information is important and you should expect to receive clear answers. Let them help you make the right choices. Before you make any decisions, contact A Better Tomorrow and ask questions; get the facts!
